Description
Precious stones, their shapes and exceptional colors, especially when facing the light, led me to design this unusual gold construction. The main folded form follows the positions of the stars in the constellation Orion, which aligns and merges with the Orion Nebula.
The ring is produced entirely by hand with traditional goldsmiths technics. The main two-part folding construction is made in 14kt rose gold by milling, sewing, welding, and hammering process, adding the custom made stone baskets and constructed together by traditional soldering methods. Polished by hand completely and set all nine precious stones individually. Containing 5,65 ct faceted pear shape one-of-a-kind melody stone, 2,50 ct custom-cut faceted amethyst, and seven 0,015ct white diamonds.
